On the Double Vocation of Marxologists.

Google Scholar has led me to an amazing discovery–not only are Michael Heinrich, Patrick Murray, Chris Arthur and Fred Moseley noted Marxologists, they have have also published an incredible number of scientific and legal papers. I had no idea Heinrich wrote on ‘Efficacy and safety of imatinib mesylate in advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors’ and took on used car companies in Heinrich v. Titus-Will Sales.  Nor that Arthur had broken new ground in discovering that Real-time quantitative PCR analysis can be used as a primary screen to identify patients with CML treated with imatinib who have BCR-ABL kinase domain mutations  whilst Then again I only just found out that I co-authored an article on ‘Control of neuronal pathway selection by a Drosophila receptor protein-tyrosine kinase family member.’ I have no idea what it all means, but I am thrilled, since I might just have an academic future after all.
