An Introduction to the History of Crisis Theories.

Anwar Sheikh provides an interesting overview of crisis theories. He argues that crisis should be looked at from the perspective of reproduction. A crisis, then, is the disruption of reproduction which is accounted for in different ways by Neoclassical, Keynesian and Marxian theories. Sheikh’s article provides a helpful overview of each of these theories here.
