Intellectual Fool

I’m a sucker for oral histories of music scenes. So last Sunday I started reading Grunge is Dead: An oral history of the Seattle Music Scene, even though I’m not a big fan of music from Seattle. So far the book has been interesting and confirmed my suspicions, that apart from bands with Mark Arm/Steve Turner in them, all the ‘grunge’ that came out of Seattle was shit. More importantly, it got me to youtube one of Arm and Turner’s early bands, Mr. Epp, who I quite like:
